Good cash flow is the Life Line of a company’ being. To ensure effective debt recovery and credit control techniques, Aquaplex, in association with Credit Management Services (CMS) hosted a workshop for its sales team to develop and fine tune their communication, negotiation, questioning and influencing techniques related to credit control.
Spearheaded by Mr. Andy Yiacoumi – Managing Director, CMS, Mr. Faraz Ashraf – Manager- Corporate Credit Analytics, CMS and Ms. Veena Bangera – Credit Controller, Aquaplex, the workshop focused on importance of credit check reports’ Dos and Don’ts of extending credit, designing strategies to identify and manage risk, importance of monitoring credit facilities and much more.

Extending credit to customers is one such step which ultimately makes the customer – supplier relationship rewarding and successful. Considering the given market conditions, extending credit to any customer requires due diligence. Against this backdrop, Aquaplex take steps to protect themselves against the risk of losses. In lieu of the same, the Credit Control Workshop was an effort to sharpen the sales team skills in credit analysis, risk management and effective credit administration. Several case studies were discussed during this interactive workshop, which will empower the team to be judicious and meticulous during their field visits to new and existing customers, as well as ensure how to check the genuineness of the customer and how fast the cash flow situation can change within a company.”
